Marie-Thérèse and Jean Orliac and their children (Marie, François, Yves and Martin) cultivate two vineyards: the vineyard of Hortus, in the combe of Fambétou, on abandoned lands of scree slopes, and Clos Prieur, smaller, at the foot of the Larzac plateau. They are grouped under the name “Vignoble Orliac” which includes as a whole 60 hectares of rows of vines perched on the heights of the hinterland of Montpellier.

Domaine de l’Hortus produces wines of the three colors white, red and rosé, with its wines of property on the one hand (Domaine de l’Hortus), but also its carefully selected wines from neighboring vine growers (Bergerie de l’Hortus).
